Coming out of Chinatown NYC, Tyler Chan, a Chinese-American raised with strong ties to tradition, discovered photography at 15. Initially documenting suburban American teen life, the journey transformed into preserving cultural heritage.
Chan documents evolving community spirit, delving into the international landscape of rap music through connections with artists. His goal is to challenge stereotypes, empower communities, and spotlight the pride in heritage.
